Driving History: Exploring the ’68 Dodge Charger 426 Hemi R/T in Medium Gold Paint

The 426 Hemi-powered 1968 Dodge Charger R/T in Medium Gold Color is a classic example of a muscle car. Jeff Fleming, the owner of this stunning automoile since 2013, was gracious enough to speak with us.
Jeff enjoys muscle cars and has several in his collection, but the 1968 Charger R/T is his favorite. This award-winning vehicle is essentially a brand-new 1968 Dodge Charger R/T with a 426 Hemi engine that has just rolled off the assembly line.

The exterior of the car is painted in Medium Gold, which was a popular color for this model at the time. The perfect, like-new condition of the paint is a testament to the caliber of the car’s restoration work. The car’s body is also in excellent condition, with no dents or corrosion.

The interior is equally impressive, with a wood-grain steering wheel, center console, and black vinyl seats. The automobile’s dashboard, instruments, and factory-installed tachometer are all completely original. There was no detail overlooked in the interior design, indicating a high level of attention to detail.

The vehicle is powered by a 426 Hemi engine, one of the most legendary engines in muscle car history. The vehicle is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission and a dual four-barrel carburetor engine. The engine produces a whopping 425 horsepower, making it one of the most powerful vehicles of its time.

When Jeff drove us around, it was an experience unlike any other. The vehicle accelerates quickly and smoothly, and any car enthusiast will enjoy the sound of the engine. The car handles beautifully, and the ride is comfortable and smooth.

It’s easy to see why the 1968 Dodge Charger R/T in Medium Gold with a 426 Hemi engine is such a desirable vehicle. It is a true time capsule and a testament to American muscle car engineering and design. We are extremely grateful to Jeff Fleming for sharing this incredible automobile with us, and we admire his dedication to preserving the vehicle’s original state and history.

“We’re talking with the Owner Jeff Fleming,” the video’s author added. Jeff has owned this vehicle since 2013.
